Bulk QR code generator from a CSV file

Have 80 products, 40 tables or 200 branches to label? Import a CSV file into Krealo QR: each row becomes a short link with its own QR code, filed in the right folder with its tags. The Pro plan creates up to 500 per file, then you download every PNG in one ZIP.

Who it’s for

  • A restaurant, hotel or gym that wants one code per table, room or locker.
  • A retailer or maker that links each product page to its own QR code.
  • An agency preparing the codes for a campaign across dozens of addresses.
  • An organization labelling its equipment, batches or branches.

How it works

  1. Save your spreadsheet as CSV, one row per code. Only the url column is required; title, slug, folder and tags are optional. The import page offers a CSV template to download and fill in.
  2. On your links page, click “Import CSV” and pick the file. The preview shows each row’s error before anything is created.
  3. Start the creation: it runs in batches of 25 rows with a progress bar.
  4. Download the CSV of the short links created and the ZIP of QR codes as PNGs, one file per row.

One CSV, one short link per row

The format is what any spreadsheet exports: Excel and Google Sheets both save as CSV. The recognized columns are url, title, slug (the short link’s identifier), folder and tags. Without a header row, the expected order is url, title, slug, folder, tags.

The separator (comma or semicolon) is detected automatically, and an address without https:// gets the prefix. Several tags are separated by a comma or a vertical bar, and a folder that does not exist yet is created.

The same checks as doing it by hand

Before creating anything, the preview flags an invalid address, a blocked destination, a badly formed identifier or too many tags. During creation, the server refuses, for example, an identifier that is already taken. Each failing row stays on screen with its message, and the other rows are still created.

After the import: CSV and ZIP

One button downloads a CSV with your rows, the short link created and any error (columns url, title, slug, short link, error), handy for a mail merge or a layout tool. A second button downloads the ZIP of codes as PNGs.

Imported codes come out in the default style, black and white. For codes in your brand colours, select the links in your list and apply one of your design templates to the whole selection.

Honest limits

  • 500 rows per file: beyond that, only the first 500 are read and the page tells you so.
  • The Pro plan allows up to 2,000 creations per day, imports included.
  • The PNGs in the ZIP are 1,024 px square, fine for screens and everyday printing. For a very large poster, download the SVG or the 2,048 px PNG from each link’s page.

Frequently asked questions

How many QR codes can I create at once?

Up to 500 per CSV file. If the file has more, only the first 500 rows are used; you can import the rest in a second file.

Which columns does my file need?

Only the destination address (url) is required. You can add a title, a short link identifier (slug), a folder and tags. Without a header row, the order is url, title, slug, folder, tags.

What happens if a row has an error?

It is flagged in the preview with its message and is not created, but it does not stop the other rows. You can fix the file and re-import only the missing rows.

Can I customize the design of bulk-created codes?

Yes, after the import: select the links in your list and apply one of your design templates (colours, dot style, logo). Imported codes first come out in black and white.

Is this feature free?

No, it is a Pro feature. You can try it for 7 days without a credit card.
