QR code with logo
A QR code with logo shows your company’s image in the centre of the pattern, so customers recognize your brand before they even scan. With Krealo QR Pro, at $5.99 a month plus taxes, you upload your logo, pick your colours and dot style, then download the result as PNG, SVG or PDF.
How to add a logo to a QR code
In Krealo QR, adding a logo takes a few steps from your Pro account:
- Create a link or open an existing one.
- Upload your logo as a file. It is resized automatically for the centre of the code.
- Choose the colours, the dot style and the corner style.
- Download the code as PNG, SVG or PDF.
Error-correction level H, explained simply
A QR code holds some of its information twice. That is what lets it be read even when part of it is damaged or covered. Error-correction level H is the highest: it leaves more room for a logo to cover the centre without stopping the code from being read. Krealo QR applies it so your code stays scannable.
That doesn’t make an oversized logo safe. Keep it modest in size and always test the result.
Colours and contrast
Custom colours are an asset, as long as you keep good contrast:
- Choose a pattern clearly darker than the background.
- Avoid light colours on a light background, such as yellow on white.
- If you invert the colours, test with several phones before printing.
- Check that the logo stays legible once placed in the centre.
Dot and corner styles
Pro lets you change the shape of the dots that make up the pattern and of the three corner markers. Rounded dots give a softer look, square dots a more classic one. These choices are cosmetic: they change neither the destination nor the short link.
SVG and PDF for print
PNG suits screens and small formats. For a poster, a sign or packaging, SVG and PDF are better: they are vector formats that stay sharp at any size. They are available with Pro, in addition to PNG.
A code you can still edit
Your logo code points to a Krealo QR short link. With Pro, you can change the destination later without reprinting, and follow scans by day, country, device type and referrer.

Frequently asked questions
Is the logo in the QR code available for free?
No. Logo, colours and styles are Pro features. The Free plan produces black-and-white QR codes.
What file format should I use for the logo?
You upload your logo as a file from your account. It is then resized automatically for the centre of the code.
Does a logo stop the code from being read?
Not if it stays modest in size. Error-correction level H helps keep the code scannable, but always test with several phones before printing.
Can I choose my colours?
Yes, with Pro. Keep the pattern darker than the background for good contrast.
Which format should I choose for printing?
SVG or PDF, available with Pro, because they stay sharp at every size.
