A PDF brochure or catalogue behind a QR code

A brochure or catalogue in PDF form is easier to keep current when it sits behind a QR code. People scan, open the file on their phone, and call you if they like what they see. With Krealo QR you replace the PDF in the page and the printed code keeps pointing to the latest version.

The page your customers will see

A template ready to customise: your colours, your logo, your blocks. The QR code stays the same when you edit it.

Product and manual

Create this page

Who it’s for

  • Wholesalers and manufacturers with a seasonal catalogue
  • Service providers with a price list or fee schedule
  • Real estate and travel agencies with printable brochures
  • Associations sharing a program or a newsletter

How it works

  1. Choose the product template and add your logo and a short title.
  2. Upload the PDF in the document block and add contact buttons.
  3. Print the code on brochures, posters, a booth or a business card.
  4. Replace the PDF when a new edition comes out; the code remains the same.

What the reader sees

A page with your logo, a few lines of introduction, and a button that opens the PDF in the phone’s viewer. Underneath are your contact buttons so a reader can call or message you straight away.

A PDF that reads well on a phone

  • Compress the file so it opens quickly on mobile data.
  • Use a large enough font; a design made for A4 may be too small on a screen.
  • Add a page of contact details at the end of the PDF.
  • Name the file clearly, with the year or season.

Free or Pro

On Free you can use up to 3 pages, each with one advertisement. Pro lifts the page limit, removes the advertisement and gives detailed statistics on how often each brochure is scanned.

Frequently asked questions

Will old copies of the brochure show the new PDF?

Yes, as long as they carry the same QR code. The code leads to the page, and the page leads to the file you currently have uploaded.

Can I offer several PDFs on one page?

Yes. Add one document button per file, for instance a catalogue, a price list and a care guide.
